Peak III, Charlotte Bay, Antarctic PeninsulaCharlotte Bay sits along the western side of the Antarctic Peninsula, and on the day I made this photograph the cloud was hanging low enough to cut across the summit of this peak. What struck me was the scale of the glaciation on the lower slopes. Deep crevassing and that distinctive blue tint in the ice where it's compressed under its own weight.
