Inisheeshan, Co. GalwayI had to look up the name afterwards. That's often the way with these tiny outcrops along the Connemara coast. Inisheeshan is really just a pair of low lying rocks, dark and barnacled, sitting a few feet above the waterline. Barely qualifies as an island. The evening was dead calm, the sun dropping into a band of haze on the horizon, and the Atlantic had settled into long, gentle swells. As those swells met the rocks, they refracted and wrapped around
