From Above, Bull Rock, CorkThe first time I saw Bull Rock from directly above, I wasn't prepared for it. I'd been out there by boat several times over the years, knew the famous tunnel that runs clean through the middle, knew how imposing it looks from sea level. But from this angle, none of that matters. The southern half of the rock is white. Completely white. Thousands of nesting gannets packed across every flat surface available. There's a detail I love here. Right in the
