Paper Architecture by Frances HunterPapermaking wasps are both builders and artists. Collecting and being fascinated by the many abandoned wasp nests around my rural studio has resulted in Paper Architecture, a small book describing the construction skills of yellowjackets. The weight and softness of nest paper inspires the book's tactility while the ovoid nest forms and hexagonal cells are suggested by shaped text blocks and the use of an angular typeface.
