Sunrise, Bull Rock, CorkBull Rock sits about three kilometres off the tip of the Beara Peninsula, and getting out there requires patience, a good skipper, and a fair bit of luck with the weather. The rock itself is massive, rising sheer from the Atlantic with a natural tunnel running clean through its base. In this photograph, the early morning sun fires straight through that tunnel, lighting it up like a furnace while the rest of the rock stands in heavy silhouette. Gannets
